AMRF Invitation for First Projects (IFP) Industry Briefing

The first stage of our state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF) located in Bradfield City Centre, is scheduled to open in mid-2024.

Local and global manufacturing businesses, innovators, researchers, and technology providers are now invited to be among the first to take advantage of the unique offerings of the AMRF.

The AMRF Stage 1 offers access to cutting-edge technology, expertise, and equipment to help develop smart manufacturing solutions to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Our technical capabilities and services will support businesses to scale up and commercialise prototypes, upskill staff, and enable collaboration between industry and research partners.

Manufacturing capability areas offered by the AMRF Stage 1 include:

Additive manufacturing
Precision machining
Composite manufacturing
Automation
Digitisation
Metrology.

What is the Invitation for first projects?

The AMRF is seeking project proposals from potential customers and general feedback on the AMRF's customer proposition. You can participate by:

proposing a project to be potentially included amongst the first projects undertaken at the AMRF
providing feedback on the AMRF customer proposition, and information about your organisation's current production and/or research priorities.

Format: Hybrid (face-to-face and online)
Date: Tuesday, 24 October 2023
Time: 9:00am – 10:00am AEDT (please check your local time conversion for Sydney, Australia)
Catering: Join us for refreshments and an opportunity for networking after the session.
Location: WPCA Office, 50 Belmore Street, Penrith, NSW, Australia or MS Teams.

The event will be held in person at our WPCA Penrith office and online via MS Teams.
